A dedicated team in the United States and India, including technology professionals, program instructors, and on-the-ground staff, collaborate for daily operations. The India-based team operates from one of the nation’s central IT hubs, Hyderabad. The curriculum is developed, instructors are recruited, and communities are scheduled for online instruction. The use of cloud-based technology allows students from various communities to join the classes at the same time or watch a recording if they miss class. A nationally accredited Open Schools curriculum that the government of India approves provides the students with education starting at a foundational level and excelling at their own pace, allowing them to be eligible to finish High School. This is a groundbreaking opportunity for so many under-educated women and youth in the rural and poverty-stricken areas where we serve.
